The safety of our guests and associates has always been our top priority at Valleyfair. We are committed to maintaining Valleyfair as a place where families and friends can come together to enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment.
VALLEYSCARE: SEPARATE TICKET EVENT
A separate event ticket or qualifying Season Pass will be required for admission to ValleyScare. On Friday nights, guests will enter the park through the front gate, following our standard entrance procedures.
On select Saturdays in the fall, Valleyfair will start the day with the family-friendly fall daytime event, Tricks and Treats. When the park closes at 5:30 PM, all guests will be instructed to exit the park. Guests attending ValleyScare will be directed to a secondary entrance left of the Front Gate and before Steel Venom. A separate ValleyScare ticket or qualifying Season Pass must be presented for admission. Route 76 will be open until the transformation to ValleyScare is completed.
CHAPERONE POLICY
NOTICE TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS: TEENS/CHILDREN
Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior of their minor children. Appropriate behavior and supervision are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and is always expected. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Parents/guardians may be held legally liable for all acts of the children under their care.
All guests aged 17 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old to be admitted to, or remain in, the park for ValleyScare.
The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at the Security Entrance. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than five (5) guests aged 17 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry and remain with the party for the duration of their stay. Valleyfair reserves the right to alter this ratio at any time.
Guests 18 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government issued photo identification (Driver’s License, State Issued ID Card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park.
Chaperones must present a valid government-issued photo ID with date of birth.
Digital /pictures of IDs are not accepted.
Guests aged 17 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Valleyfair ticket and season passholders.
During ValleyScare, clear plastic bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6” as well as non-clear wristlets or clutches no larger than 5”x 8”x 2” are allowed. All bags are subject to search prior to entry.
NO RE-ENTRY POLICY
Guests exiting the park will not be permitted to re-enter.
VALLEYFAIR CODE OF CONDUCT
Valleyfair is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests. To help us fulfill our commitment, we ask that you honor this code of conduct.
The following behaviors or acts are not permitted at ValleyScare:
- Carrying firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind and any other prohibited item. Valleyfair reserves the right to prohibit any items at their discretion.
- Fireworks or other similarly explosive and/or flammable objects, smoke machines, or fog machines.
- Unsolicited photographing or video recording that disrupts a guest’s experience or interferes with park operations. Filming, regardless of device, secured or unsecure, is prohibited on most rides and attractions.
- Unruly or disruptive behavior that interferes with guests’ enjoyment of the park including running, the incitement of running, loitering in large groups, and blocking midways and/or exits.
- Fighting or physical aggression of any kind, including verbal and physical assaults.
- Acts or behavior that park management determines is a safety concern or that interrupts park operations or guests’ experience.
- Harassing/threatening behavior, sexual misconduct, or lewd behavior including inappropriate interaction with park guests or associates.
- Offensive language or gestures.
- Clothing with offensive language, obscene gestures/graphics, or nudity or clothing that does not sufficiently cover undergarments. Face coverings that conceal identity. (This policy does not apply to masks meant to reduce the spread of Covid-19 and other germs.) Family-oriented themed outfits/attire are permitted. Costumes that conceal identity are prohibited. Rides and attraction may also have additional restrictions on attire.
- Intoxication or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior.
- Smoking/Vaping is not permitted inside the park.
- Entering restricted areas including but not limited to ride Danger Zones and behind-the-scenes areas. If you lose an items, report to the Ride Attendant or Lost and Found.
- Line Breaking- includes leaving and re-entering a line for any reason or place holding in line.
- Theft of any kind.
- Selling park tickets, credentials, and other entitlements or soliciting and distributing literature not sponsored by the park except where otherwise approved.
- Refusing to follow verbal or printed instructions or cooperate with park personnel or security.
- Conduct deemed by Valleyfair to be inappropriate for the peace and good order of the park, guests, or associates, and which may adversely affect the safety of others.
MASK POLICY
Masks are prohibited in the park and may not be worn as part of any costume.
No masks will be permitted on any ride at any time.
THEMED ATTIRE
Costume masks, face paint, or costume attire are not allowed during ValleyScare. Guests may not enter wearing trench coats or flak jackets. Attire must not represent or resemble any official Park character, disrupt regular company operations, or potentially harm another guest or associate. Attire and accessories must meet Code of Conduct dress requirements and may not be offensive or violent and may not disrupt the general safety of guests or associates. Guests wearing character themed outfits may not sign autographs for other guests or represent themselves as a park associate. Costumes or makeup that conceals identity are prohibited. Rides and attractions may also have additional restrictions on dress attire. Themed outfits/attire may be prohibited during Halloween events.
PERSONAL CONDUCT
Conduct deemed by Valleyfair to be inappropriate for the peace and good order of the park, guests, or associates, and which may adversely affect the safety of others is not permitted. Anyone who violates the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund.
Guests are encouraged to report any violations of the Guest Code of Conduct or suspicious activity to the nearest Valleyfair associate, Security associate, or text VFSAFE TO (952) 213-1923.
Valleyfair reserves the right to revise or modify this Code of Conduct with or without notice.
Notice: Valleyfair Security personnel utilize surveillance cameras and body-worn cameras as part of their overall security program.
